On Thursday, 15 July 2010, DELTA members set off on an outing to Hampton Court Palace, London. After weeks of fine weather the day started with high winds and rain! Never mind, when we arrived it was still grey and windy but not raining and gradually the sun came out.

After getting our tickets most of us headed off to the cafe to use their toilets and buy lunch which was very good. Then we set off to explore the lovely gardens and the palace which was very interesting and made more so by helpful guides. We all agreed it was a very good outing .
